It’s also important to remember that decluttering is not a one-and- done project but should become a routine. You can start by organizing the small stuff, one space at a time. Choose a place to donate anything you don’t love or no longer use. What about the things you do need — but just don’t have space for? You may want to consider a shed. While many rent storage units, two Somerset companies offer rent-to-own options at comparable rates with the added convenience of being on your property. “One of the best ways people can declutter is to buy one of these big storage buildings and they try to go from what they want and what they need,” said Kasi Lee of Wildcat Barns, a local cabin company which also offers a wide variety of Timber- line structures also a. “They keep what they need in their storage buildings and get rid of the rest.” The structures range in size from 8x8 to 14x40, with Lee noting that the most popular is the 10x20 lofted that allows people to store “all the way to the ceiling.” Wildcat will deliver free up within a 100-mile radius. So about a year ago, we went into the shed business also.” Owner Bruce Wilson recommends a garage for the family serious about decluttering.
