are ready to use the same day they are deliv-
ered.
Even with smaller sheds — available in metal
or wood — customers can choose to add shelv-
ing or Tote storage which can hold 10-12 totes
that are 24 inches tall.
“That goes a long way for Christmas decora-
tions and things like that,” Wilson said, rec-
ommending a 12x16 structure for the average
homeowner. “People have so many things in
their garages — weedeaters, rakes, shovels,
Christmas decorations, you name it.”
Another popular option is a six-foot-wide,
roll-up door if you don’t want to keep lawn
equipment in your garage. Electrical packages
or skylights are also available. Bridget Halcomb,
Wilson’s Business Development representative,
noted a trend toward more decorative features
like porches.
Halcomb recommended thinking beyond
simple storage. Sheds can be customized to ac-
commodate a hobby that may be cluttering your
home. They can become greenhouses, home
offices, or playhouses for toys.
