Buying a trailer?
A local guide to buying trailers in the
Pulaski County, Somerset area
BY CARLA SLAVEY
COMMONWEALTH JOURNAL
Whether you are trying to
get an ATV across town or a
backhoe from one side of the
country to the other, there’s no
denying that a trailer is a vital
part in that process. Hauling
one item or dozens is made
so much easier with the right
trailer to haul it with.
There are plenty of options
out there for people in the
market for a trailer. Here, we
are going to look at two of the
home-grown local options:
Conder’s Trailer Sales and
Gatormade Trailers.
Both businesses have local
roots, with Conder’s being
owned by Terry and Dawn
Conder, and Gatormade com-
ing from owner B.J. Brown.
Both offer trailers in all sizes
from the small, lawnmow-
er-sized to something that can
haul heavy equipment.
The main difference between
the two is that Gatormade
hosts and on-site manufactur-
ing plant here in Pulaski, while
Conder’s is a dealer for Big Tex
brand trailers made in Texas.
