Games
Education
Games are one of the most obvious examples of interactive media in the current
day. With in the introduction of gaming
consoles into our lives, interactivity with
them could never be more apparent, using
forms of interactivity such as using the
controller to navigate and control whatever game your playing, the level of interactivity is quite high. Also on devices such as
touch-screen tablets there is a lot of interactivity because they are playing app
games in the form of touching the screen
to interact.
Interactive media is used more everyday in
education in our current day, teachers are
finding out that if they make the students
interact with what they are learning it will
improve the amount of knowledge that they
walk away with. A good example of this
would be the interactive boards that are in
most modern classrooms, these are used to
make the students come up and do the work
themselves in front of the class, or the
teacher do it in the same way, therefore increasing the amount they are involved and
also how much they learn.

Computer-based training
You might think that this field has not been
affected by interactive media compared to others right? Well you couldn't be more wrong, in
fact in our current day, interactive media helps
train millions of people in our current day. Interactive media helps people learn and train themselves by making all kinds of technology more
interactive and direct in connecting with the
learner, therefore increasing the input that they
get from the experience and therefore their
learning. Along with things such as interactive
presentations, this spearheads the speed and
effectiveness in which you and me learn in the
current age.
