Using sports as an international communication method, differences are bridged and integration is conducted in a smooth and easy way. 3) CULTURAL EVENT FOR THE MIGRANTS DAY “TOGETHER AT +:TALKING, ACTING TOGETHER, LIVING TOGETHER” The Program was implemented from 9/12/2011 until 31/1/2012. The action’s program was to implement three festivals for the immigrants’ day, December the 18th, in three cities of Greece, Thessaloniki, Athena, Volos that are characterized by the strong presence of citizens of third countries. The festivals were aiming to aware local societies about the problems that Third Country Citizens might be facing during their staying at the host country, but also the promotion of the value of diversity. 4) LEGAL CONSULTANCY AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO THIRD COUNTRY NATIONALS LEGALLY RESIDING IN THE COUNTRY The Program was implemented from 1/4/2012 until 30/6/2012. The main objective was to provide legal assistance to legally resident third country nationals who have already developed strong biotic, family and social ties in Greece. It was a short duration program but an extremely interesting activity, not merely locally but had expanded, setting up legal aid offices in the three major urban centers (Athens, Thessaloniki and Piraeus). In the case of Thessaloniki, the legal firm providing support services both through group sessions and on an individual basis in the Polyclinic of PRAKSIS. Conducting group sessions in indoor and outdoor gathering in third country nationals was a very important experience for members of the legal team and has added a new dynamic to the extroverted role of lawyers as members of local communities. In a lot of cases we had to offer legal support to people that have been in Greece for a lot of years, have created families, have legally worked in the country and are fully integra ѕ
