Our last few food related articles focused on easy dinner and easy snacks. But what is there for the health freaks amongst our readers? Well, in order to please you as well I’ve listed a few healthy (healthier) snacks and snack alternatives for the healthy sweet tooth.

For our fruit lovers: Do you ever have the feeling that you would really like a piece of fruit, but a piece of chocolate seems even more appealing? Well here is your solution!

The kiwi-chocolate lollypop

You take:

4 kiwis;

150 grams of pure chocolate;

40 grams of chopped walnuts.

Melt the chocolate bain marie, that means that you heat water and put the chocolate in a bowl and the bowl over the water, but don’t let it make contact. Peel the kiwis and slice them into 4 slices, then stick them on to a Popsicle stick.

After this prep work is done, the real work starts. Dip both sides of the kiwi into the melted chocolate and sprinkle some of the nuts over the chocolate while it’s still soft. After you’ve done this, put the lollypops in the fridge in order for the chocolate to harden.

And that’s it, Bob’s your uncle! A healthier alternative to lollypops and to chocolate.
