One of the tallest tasks Cruze
faces is converting the ferris
wheel. He replaces all of the
fluorescent lights on the wheel,
and changes out the skull on
the axle for a wreath and a
Santa face. A task that requires
Cruze to stand on a ladder, 27
feet in the air! Thankfully he says
he plans to hire a bucket truck
to lift him up next year.

There’s no doubt Cruze has a
gift for creating and sharing his
passion with his community. “I love do-
ing it, and I hope to continue to be able
to do it,” he says. “I give all of my talent
and praise to God because otherwise
there’s no way on earth I would be able
to do that, and He’s the main reason for
the season. If we didn’t have Him we
wouldn’t have anything.”
