On a mission to repair the world.
Jenifer Mathis at Word Alive International
Outreach explains the mission behind Proj-
ect 58. “Our mission is simple. We provide
sustainable solutions around the world. We
do this by feeding people, providing clean
water, and enacting social justice. I like to
say we think globally and act locally.”
In addition to Project 58, the press. at WAIO
provides an eatery and a readery on the
WAIO campus. You can shop, eat, read,
and give at the press. The press. also offers
catering options for events and gatherings
both on and off site.
Mathis explains more about the press. and
Project 58 in our Q&A.

Tell me about the inspiration for The
Press. How did it all begin?
While Word Alive International Outreach has
always provided great coffee tied to the Proj-
ect 58 mission, we have recently rebranded
ourselves as the press. We now offer an eat-
ery, readery, and the pressbox catering and
event rentals! The inspiration for the press.
came from Luke 6:38 which reads: “Give,

and it will be given to you. A good measure,
pressed down, shaken together and running
over, will be poured into your lap. For with
the measure you use, it will be measured to
you.” We love giving back to our community,
to missions, and to our family and friends.
And we also love to provide ample op-
portunities for our customers to give back.
