Jerk n ’ Tingz was founded in 2018 by chef Matthew who trained at Westminster Kingsway College and spent his time honing his craft in establishments in London , New York and Japan including The Savoy and The Royal Mandarin Oriental . His passion for food is easy to see especially with the recipes from his home : Jamaica . Open for dinner ( 5pm-9.30pm ), Jerk n ’ Tingz is both an eat-in establishment and also provides a takeaway service with daily specials . The food is a mix of traditional and new recipes including homemade flavorful sauces and 48-hour marinated meats cooked on their barrel drum BBQ . The Butchers Block , Burham
Food-focused pub nestled in the picturesque village of Burham , amidst glorious Kent countryside . Meat glorious meat is the speciality here and diners can enjoy everything from sumptuous steaks cooked to perfection , inventive starters such as rolled pork cheek with a sticky soy and local honey glaze , and more traditional dishes , such as rolled shoulder of Kent lamb with potato and celeriac dauphinoise . Rest assured that long before the steaks meet the grill , they ’ re carefully dry-aged , cut and hand trimmed - all done on the premises to achieve incomparable flavour and texture . The Butchers Block beef is 100 % British grass-fed and dry-aged for approximately 28 days in order to give the meat its exceptional quality .
