Student’s Experience Learning CATIA has been immensely fun. It has also been quite tough but under the guidance of Mr. Frinson everything eventually came together. Just like an Assembly drawing. It taught me to be organized and helped me manage my time better as I had to juggle between so many different, complicated drawings. I would recommend this amazing experience to anyone who would like to try something different. Because if you have these CATIA skills not only can you design whatever you want but you also have a valuable extra skill required for university admissions. By Rohan Raghuraman – 11 B1 When I first joined the CATIA Programme, I was in it simply because of the certificate I’d be getting along with the internship letter from the company. However, as the course progressed, I was learning so many new things that I barely knew existed. It soon turned into something I thoroughly enjoyed, and with each project we’d been given by Mr. Frinson, our CATIA guide, the difficulty level increased and I took it as a challenge. Overall, this experience has taught me how to be patient when things didn’t go my way, it’s allowed me to venture into new paths of technology that I never knew I’d see at high school level, and it has broadened my overall outlook in the field of computer aided designing.
