Introduction
Once again Innovate , the journal of our Institute of Teaching and Learning ( ITL ) at Sevenoaks School , covers a range of topics , and demonstrates how members of our community engage in research and reflection as we work restlessly to improve our educational provision . I ’ m so grateful to all our staff and students who have contributed to this our fifth issue , and the work of our ITL throughout the course of the year .
This autumn our ITL is welcoming teachers and educators from around the world to our conference about flourishing in schools . We have been working with the Harvard University Human Flourishing Programme for several years , building on their research and helping to promote flourishing and wellbeing amongst members of our own community . We look forward to welcoming Harvard faculty , Research Schools International and guests from schools across the globe to our conference , which will be a great platform in which to exchange ideas and best practice .
A special thanks to Mark Beverley , Director of the ITL , and Hannah Barritt , Research and Development Coordinator , for all their excellent work producing this edition of Innovate , and we all look forward to the conference this autumn .
