However, what is more striking about this venue is not its elegant design that perfectly fits its surrounding nature, but its founding principles and mission. As Prof. Dr. Danica Purg, Founder and Dean of IEDC – Bled School of Management, stated in her opening speech, the school is rooted in the principles of ethical leadership and sustainability. I cannot imagine a more fitting venue for a gathering that blended integrity, compliance, innovation, and international collaboration.

This was the ninth time that European Institute of Compliance and Ethics( EICE), together with the IEDC – Bled School
of Management and the World Institute for Sustainability and Ethics in Rising Economies( WISE) held the Bled Conference and convened professionals, scholars, and practitioners from across the world. This year’ s theme was built around impactful business compliance, ethics and sustainability where the sessions reflected not only the evolution of corporate compliance but also the growing intersection between sustainability, technology, artificial intelligence and integrity.
