How can we make ourselves indispensable to our clients ?
We need to highlight the needs of our clients to our clients , before they realise they have those specific needs . We should be teaching them what they don ' t necessarily think they need or want to know , and that will help us get those results long term .
Aside from other clinicians , what referral pathways can dietitians harness ?
I ' ve always been on social media – that ' s where I get all of my referrals from . Sharing across pages and doing posts in combination with other professionals can be really good for networking and referring . Getting onto other people ' s podcasts can be helpful , too . You want to position yourself as the expert , but do so in a way where you are sharing messages about new or trending concepts .

Why is it essential to build your own email list ?
The beauty with email marketing is that you can see a lot more data than what Instagram gives you . You can see who ' s read it and who ' s clicked through .
