Optimal use of space was part of the client’ s brief, a couple aiming to slow down their work pace while still enjoying entertainment. The eastern wing is designated for guests and features two en-suite bedrooms, while the open-plan dining, kitchen, and living area flow seamlessly on the ground floor, aligned with the garages and the main bedroom.
Having these primary functions on one level and close to each other optimises living space and daily functionality.
AIRY INTERIORS AND NATURAL LIGHT PLAY
Custom-designed exposed roof trusses and openable clerestory windows enhance the sense of space while filtering natural light and ventilation throughout the living area.
Due to the natural slope of the site, the entertainment area is built on the lower ground floor, with the wine and music room at the back and a lounge area opening onto the pool deck at the front.
