DESIGNED FOR LIVING, RELAXING, AND ENTERTAINING, THIS LOWVELD HOME COMBINES SMART SPATIAL PLANNING, PASSIVE CLIMATE CONTROL, AND NATURAL MATERIALS TO CREATE A PEACEFUL RETREAT.

Nestled on a sloped hill at the very end of a nature estate, Lands End House overlooks the hills and mountain ranges of the Lowveld in Mpumalanga.

Orientation towards the northern sun and viewing angles to the west were key factors during the design process. Large overhangs and movable louvres help manage the intense afternoon sun, while the building’ s northern orientation allows sunlight to enter during cold winter days.
