The Library and the Friends of the Library received a combined total of $6,322 in donations. 44 West Jefferson Hills We are pleased to build on the success of our adult yoga classes and beginning in January 2017 offer two additional YOGA classes each week to elementary students and preteens/teens. These classes will be taught by Linda Frost E-RYT. Ms. Frost has over 500 hours of experience in working with students of all ages. She has enjoyed great success in working with the children and teens in the Borough’s Summer Recreation Program. Tuition for the 8 classes is $20 and registration is required prior to January 10 on the Library Event Keeper (jeffersonhillslibrary.org) or by calling 412-655-7741. YOGA for Preteens & Teens Grades 5 & Up Tuesday Afternoons January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14, 21, 28 4 to 5 p.m. This class is designed for students with or without previous yoga experience. Teen yoga classes help cultivate selfdiscipline, promote self-esteem, and maintain physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Each class will focus on strengthening, toning and relaxation providing teenagers with an alternative way to redirect their energy. Stretching will also reduce growing pains, and adolescents will feel more comfortable within their own skin. It’s a healthy and challenging way to experiment, to push boundaries and gain a sense of achievement. This class will be great for athletes who need stretches, strengthening and breathing work to enhance athletic perform
