SUSTAINABILITY
Participants will receive a FreeGarden RAIN 55-gallon rain barrel.
Designed with the homeowner/gardener in mind, it is affordable,
attractive, easy to move, and easy to install.
This workshop is hosted by the Pennsylvania Resources Council.

Learn how to turn organic waste into a natural, homemade
compost for lawns and gardens by attending the Pennsylvania
Resources Council Backyard Composting Workshop.
Composting kitchen waste and yard debris is easy to do and
requires little time and effort. It also produces a complete and
natural food for the soil, improving its structure, water-retaining
abilities and overall health.
Ross resident and now Eagle Scout Nickolas Bartel, Boy Scout
Troop 335, was honored by the Ross Board of Commissioners
on Monday, January 18 at their Public Meeting. Nickolas carried
out his Eagle Scout Project Plan to direct his Scout Troop in the
completion of major trail renovations at the Evergreen Park. In
total, the Scouts contributed 240 hours of work on the trails.
