GROWING, HARVESTING, STORING
& COOKING WITH CULINARY HERBS
Instructor: Rico Lorenzini
Join us for a series of classes to learn the art of growing,
harvesting, and cooking with culinary herbs. This is a fourpart series, the first three parts of which will be taught by Rico
Lorenzini, owner of the Tomato Pie Restaurant in North Park. In
the fourth class, our Recreation Director will teach participants to
make homemade bread using herbs, onion, and garlic.

HEART HEALTH – TAKING CARE
OF YOUR HEART THROUGH
DIET, EXERCISE, AND BLOOD
PRESSURE CONTROL
Instructor: Mari Winter Devenyi, RN, BSN, Certified Health
Education Specialist.
There is always something new to learn about how healthy habits
(and attitude) affect your long-term heart health. We will also go
over signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke, including:
Heart disease
High blood pressure
High cholesterol

Join our Certified Health Education Specialist as we explore all
things Heart Healthy! Minimum 10, Maximum 25.
Dates: April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30th (all Saturdays) 1-3pm
Cost: For 5 classes-$25 for Ross residents, $30 for non-residents.

Each Thursday, we will host either Bridge or 500 Bid Players:
Join fellow community members and friends for group activities.
Even if you’ve never tried these skills before, come and see what
your hobbies and social activities your Ross neighbors are into. All
are welcome!
