CARRYING A TRADITION FORWARD : HOMECOMING 2024
Homecoming festivities were brimming with school spirit and joy ! Pep rallies engaged students at all of our schools in this beloved tradition . On Thursday , September 12th , our community gathered for the annual homecoming bonfire , the homecoming football game was held Friday , September 13th , and the homecoming dance rounded out the festive weekend on Saturday , September 14th .

PATRIOTIC IN PLUM
In order to foster civic pride , Ethan , a student at Holiday Park Intermediate School , dreamed up the idea of having American flags installed on the light poles along Mike Thomas Way in Plum , near the new municipal building . The industrious student has been busy making this goal a reality . He has raised enough to fund the first stage , enabling flags to be installed along Mike Thomas Way !
KILN OF CREATIVITY
In a hands-on course at Plum Middle School , students explore the art of ceramics , learning foundational techniques in hand-building and glazing . Emphasis is placed on developing creativity , problem-solving skills , and craftsmanship while learning about the cultural significance of ceramics . By the end of the class , students will have a strong understanding of the entire process — from shaping clay to firing in a kiln — gaining both technical skills and an appreciation for the art form .
