Lobby and Administrative Offices
Safety was at the forefront of the planning for the new school as guests all enter via a secure vestibule . The building was designed in zones that allow for large public athletic and fine arts events while also limiting access to other areas of the school . All offices for the school administration , counseling staff and the school nurse are at the front of the school to limit the need for visitors to enter the student areas .
Academic
Classrooms
These bright , beautiful classrooms offer the latest technology and creative learning spaces for students . From dedicated Aquos boards and document cameras to desk design , the classrooms were designed to promote collaboration and interactive thinking .
Athletics
The new gymnasium includes seating for 2,300 guests with a 2 lane walking track at the concourse level and scoreboards that can show live video . In addition , the Athletic wing of the school includes an auxiliary gymnasium with seating for 300 , a natatorium with an 8 lane pool and seating for 300 , an adaptive gym , weight room , and fitness center . Outside are two regulation fields – one natural grass and one turf with close proximity to the locker rooms and Athletic wing of the school .
Music and Theater
A state of the art theater with seating for 1,200 greets guests just inside the main entrance . The Fine Arts wing also includes two media studios and music and choir rooms with private practice spaces and recording studios . The music and choir rooms also include the capability to transfer the music from these spaces directly into the theater and the school ’ s television studio for live and recorded productions .

Art and Technology With lots of natural light and improved storage , the art classrooms have direct outdoor access for students to take their creativity outside . The Technology Education area features a state of the art 3D printing room , fabrication lab , and CAD lab in addition to a STEM classroom and dedicated robotics space .
Learning Commons and Learning Stairs
The traditional school library and media center has been transformed into Learning Commons that take center stage in the academic wing . The Commons features three collaborative meeting rooms , a testing center where students can find a quiet space to take an exam , and access to technology throughout the area . Designed to allow for both classroom space and small group meetings , students can also find a quiet place to study in comfortable surroundings .
Outside the Commons are the Learning Stairs that connect the first and second floor of the school . This unique gathering spot can host large group presentations with its built in sound system or provide another flexible space for student groups to meet .
