ADA Improvements in
Township Parks
Peters Township received Community Development Block Grant funding
though the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington (RACW)
for ADA accessibility improvements at Township parks. Improvements took
place at Peterswood Park, Rees Park, and Elm Grove Park. Work included new
ADA accessible concrete walks, bleacher pads, and ADA-compliant observation
areas adjacent to bleacher pads. The project was completed in mid-July.

Public Works New Entrance Sign
A new Public Works Entrance Sign was installed by the Public
Works Department in June. The new sign and surrounding
landscaping provides a warm welcome to residents and visitors
of both the Public Works Building and Peterswood Park.
