orwin School District graduated
389 students at a ceremony
held Friday, May 24, 2019
Norwin Knights Stadium.
At commencement, the valedictorian and
salutatorian, along with all honor graduates,
were recognized. National Honor Society
members were also visible as they wore honor
cords. Scores of graduating seniors earned
scholarships for their academic or athletic
excellence. Here are details about the Class of
2019:
Number of Graduates: 389
Plans after Graduation:
• Four-year college: 63.3 percent;
• Two-year community college,
business, trade, or technical school:
15.2 percent;
• Armed services: 6.4 percent;
• Enter the workforce: 9.3 percent
• Undecided: 5.7 percent.

Also, on May 16, 2019, graduating seniors
returned to their elementary buildings to participate in the first annual
Graduating Senior Parade. Adorned in their graduation gowns, the Norwin
seniors paraded through the hallways, stopping to visit with their former
teachers and interact with the K-4 students.
The senior class advisor is teacher Mrs. Lori Anselmino, assisted by teacher
Mrs. Peggy Bryan.
