The 2022 Franklin Regional Athletic Hall of Fame inductees take a group bow at the close of the student pep rally .

Dr . Roberta Chunko and Mr . Eli Visnick served with others on the Hall of Fame committee to plan the inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame event .

A reception was held following the official Hall of Fame ceremony . Pictured are the members of the Mausser family present to celebrate Coach Eric Mausser ’ s induction .

The 1979 Girls Basketball Team brought along the vintage “ Wicked Washcloth ” which fans used to cheer them on during their championship season .

Fame Committee member ). Mr . Hillgrove served as the emcee for the official Hall of Fame Induction ceremony in the Senior

High auditorium .

Mr . Zachary Kessler ( Athletic Director ), Mr . Nico Megaludis ( Champion Wrestler ), and Mr . Eric Mausser ( HOF Wresting Coach ) worked side by side during Nico ’ s athletic successes at Franklin Regional . Eric served as Nico ’ s wrestling coach . Fitting that they were inducted together in the Class of 2022 .

Tom Ricketts and his family , along with all of the other inductees , were recognized by the community at a special pre-game ceremony .

Mr . Aaron Lovelace ( Basketball ) traveled across the country to be honored as part of the Class of 2022 . He spoke of his respect for Franklin Regional and thanked his family , especially his parents , for their years of love and support .

Mrs . Leigh Kincaid Tanquist ( Track / Cross Country ) walked the field with her husband and son to be recognized by Panther fans .

Mr . Tom Ricketts , Mrs . Jodi Eyles Horvath , and Mrs . Gay Stock prior to the Induction ceremony . Gay Stock is representing her father , Mr . Edward Eyles , longtime swimming and multi-sport coach for the Panthers . He was inducted along with Tom Ricketts ( Football ) and Jodi Horvath ( Swimming ).
