ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
On Friday , September 2 , 2022 , former Panther athletes and alumni were welcomed back to Franklin Regional School District with open arms . The first inductees into the Franklin Regional Athletic Hall of Fame , Class of 2022 , met the current high school student body during a Hall of Fame student pep rally . A formal induction ceremony was held in the auditorium and was hosted Murrysville resident Mr . Bill Hillgrove , sports broadcaster for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh sports network .
A reception was held prior to the pre-game ceremony where the inductees were finally honored in the presence of the entire Franklin Regional community .

One of several events included a student pep rally where the entire Franklin Regional Senior High student body had a chance to learn about the athletic accolades of the Hall of Fame inductees .
Pictured at the student pep rally are April Moose Lasta and Pierson Lasta , daughter and grandson of Bob Moose . To honor his memory , April proudly wore her father ’ s high school varsity jacket to the event .
