learn beginning embroidery at these
four-session workshops. All supplies

Wet Felted Rock Paperweight

Fiber artist Judé Ernest will teach
you to wet felt wool and other fibers
around a rock to create a one-of-a-kind
paperweight. Participants need to bring
a terry cloth dishtowel; all other supplies
provided.
Scrapbooking
6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 12
Kathy Shomo will help you transform
loose pieces of memorabilia into unique
mosaics that tell your personal story.

THE LIFE OF BENJAMIN FRANKLIN
7 p.m., Wednesday, September 13
Benjamin Franklin has been described as
“the first American.” An author, humorist,
printer, publisher, inventor, philanthropist,
diplomat and statesman, Franklin was the
quintessential self-made man. Speaker
Jack Puglisi will discuss the life and impact
of this extraordinary man. Presented by
the Historical Society of Mount Lebanon.

how to use them, and how to find quality
