THE GATEWAY MILLCREEK DESERVES

The gateway to Presque Isle State Park is one of the most recognized intersections in the region, and for nearly a decade, Millcreek Township has been working toward a vision for the iconic corridor at West 8th Street and Peninsula Drive. That vision took a significant step forward in February, when the Millcreek Township General Authority voted to approve a pre-development agreement with Millcreek Momentum, LLC. for the redevelopment of the Gateway District properties.
The vote does not authorize construction. It authorizes the beginning of a structured pre-development phase, during which the developer and MTGA will conduct due diligence, refine design concepts, evaluate financial and regulatory considerations, and engage the public before any final development agreement is executed.
