Village week opens with 17th annual kids day
The Village for Kids is a family-favorite event that celebrates the local programs, resources, and activities that support the people of McKeesport and neighboring Mon Valley communities.
On the Monday before International Village’ s official Tuesday opening, community groups, businesses, and agencies come together each year to provide a full lineup of free activities. They share information, giveaways, and snacks, while inviting kids to take part in games, crafts, art projects, STEM activities, and more.
Attendees also enter a contest to be named the Prince and Princess of International Village. Congratulations to this year’ s Village royalty, Juan Inca and Laila Martin!
