Chartiers Valley High School is celebrating an extraordinary achievement by three of its own. Students Jaylyn Allen, Laci Dzuba, and Shaffer Kinnee, members of this year’ s Student Visionaries of the Year team, have made school history with their remarkable fundraising efforts in support of blood cancer research.

Setting out with an ambitious goal of $ 30,000, the trio not only reached their target, they far surpassed it. By the end of their campaign, they had raised an impressive $ 45,511, marking the highest total ever recorded for a Chartiers Valley team participating in the initiative.
Their success reflects months of dedication, strategic planning, and community engagement. Balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and personal commitments, Jaylyn, Laci, and Shaffer devoted countless hours to organizing events, connecting with donors, and spreading awareness about the mission to fight blood cancers.
Throughout the campaign, the students demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment, inspiring peers, teachers, and community members alike. Their efforts not only brought in critical funding but also strengthened community support for an important cause.
As ambassadors for both Chartiers Valley and the Student Visionaries program, the team exemplified what can be accomplished through passion, teamwork, and perseverance. Their record-breaking achievement will leave a lasting legacy and set a new standard for future student leaders.
The Chartiers Valley community proudly celebrates their accomplishment and the meaningful impact they have made in the fight against blood cancer.
