A Warm Welcome to Carlynton

Registering for kindergarten is the first step in a child’ s educational journey, and Carlynton looks forward to partnering with families from the very beginning. By completing each step carefully and preparing required documents in advance, parents can help ensure a smooth and positive start to the school year.

Local Swimmers Shine at WPIAL and PIAA Championships

This past weekend marked an exciting conclusion to the high school swimming season as Evie Fahnestock represented our school at the PIAA State Swimming Championships, competing against the top athletes in Pennsylvania.
Evie delivered an outstanding performance in the 100 Breaststroke, finishing 17th in the state with a time of 1:07.98. She also competed in the 50 Freestyle, placing 26th overall with a time of 25.5 seconds. Her achievements at the state level reflect a season defined by dedication, resilience, and hard work.
Evie earned her place at the PIAA Championships through strong swims at the WPIAL Championships, held February 26 – 27. There, she competed in the 100 Breaststroke, finishing in 1:07.26, and the 50 Freestyle in 24.98, qualifying for states in both events.
The journey to states was fueled by strong team performances at WPIALs, where four swimmers competed at a high level. A highlight of the meet was the 200 Freestyle Relay team, which posted an impressive time of 1:47.15. Team members included Allie Glass, Chloe Baum, Paitynn Wright, and Evie Fahnestock, with Mariah Freeman serving as an alternate.
Competing at both WPIALs and the state level is a significant accomplishment, and this group of athletes demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and pride throughout the season. Their efforts not only brought success in the pool but also represented the school community with excellence.
As the program looks ahead, we are always looking for new team members and would love to see some fresh faces join us next season.
Congratulations to all of our swimmers on a memorable and successful season.
