C
anon-McMillan School District is pleased to announce
that Joni Mansmann, Director of Business and Finance,
was elected by her peers to serve as the President of the
Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO). But
what is PASBO, and who is Joni Mansmann? Why is this good news
for the Canon-McMillan School District?
PASBO is a statewide association whose mission is to develop
and support leaders in school business operations. They have
a membership of nearly 3,000 school professionals who work
in finance, accounting, operations, facilities, transportation,
food service, technology, communications, human resources,
purchasing and safety services. PASBO is devoted to providing
members with education, training, professional development,
leadership development and timely access to legislative and
policy news. PASBO was established in 1956 and since then less
