MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS SHINE AT INVITATIONALS rentwood Borough SCHOOL DISTRICT NEWS
Several student-athletes from Brentwood Middle School turned in outstanding performances at end of the season invitational events.
Liam Seey, a 7th grade cross country runner, finished second out of 76 runners at the Uniontown Invitational. Liam followed up that performance with a first place finish at the Bald Eagle Invitational with a personal best time of 10:44 in the 3K race. Liam has been running since 5th grade when he started with the Pacers Track Club.
A team of Brentwood High School students worked through a steady downpour at the SPEC MIX Bricklayer 500 at Highmark Stadium. The students gained some excellent hands-on masonry experience and advice from professionals at the annual competition.
The Spartans who participated were: Max Brown, Samir Butler, DeAndre Debold, Jordan Lapen, Caleb Jackson, Elliot Parnell, Palsen Tamang and Julian White.

The middle school swim team saw 8th graders Jimmy Beck, Evan Belenis, Isaac Komlenic and 7th grader Dakota Kovacik all record Top 6 finishes and set personal best times at the SHADA Invitational at Chartiers Valley. The Spartans competed against five other teams to wrap-up the season.
The quartet placed third in the 200 medley relay and fourth in the 200 freestyle relay. Evan also earned high finishes in the 50 Fly( 3rd) and 100 Free( 5th), Isaac placed third in the 50 Breast and Jimmy was sixth in the 50 Free.

SPARTANS GAIN EXPERIENCE AT BRICKLAYER 500
