Brentwood Park is giving residents even more ways to stay active with the addition of two new outdoor fitness stations.
A new recumbent stationary bike has been installed near the athletic field. Brentwood Parks & Recreation Director Jim Attanucci says the bike will be especially useful for athletes looking to stay warmed up or stretch out during practices and games.
A second station— an outdoor rowing machine— is now located at the bottom of the ADA ramp leading to the Brentwood Pool, giving visitors another way to stay active while enjoying the park.
The new additions join four other outdoor fitness stations already located throughout the park near the athletic fields and playground, creating more opportunities for residents to incorporate movement and exercise into their daily routines.
The equipment is free to use and designed for a variety of ages and fitness levels.
