All of these are adding to the beauty and sustainability of the Borough for many years to come. 2016 - Paving Project Borough officials are committed to getting back on track with the much needed repairs needed to the 31 miles of Borough streets. To demonstrate their seriousness of developing a long term sustainable approach to maintaining and repairing the Borough streets, Brentwood Council has approved $850,000 in the 2016 Capital Improvement Fund dedicated to streets. Unfortunately this does not go along way and will cover the cost of only two (2) roadway projects. • This is 2016 Project. Dauphin Avenue from Sceneridge Ave. to Vanwyck Ave. will involve total reconstruction and installation of new storm sewer. Estimated cost = $300,000.00 Actual Awarded Cost: $234,978.00 Contractor: Morgan Excavating • Contract B. Multiple streets they are: Villawod Ave, Kingsley Ave. Shadyway Dr. Pointview Ave. will involve replacing and repaving of existing surface Estimated cost = $500,000.00 Actual Awarded Cost: $453,861.70 Contractor: Morgan Excavating • Contract A. Multiple streets they are: Korb Way, Crossman Way. Owendale Ave. will involve milling and repaving as well as repairs to the stormwater system.
