Hello,
We hope everyone had a good spring and are anxiously awaiting the summer months. Our department has some new things that will
help ensure your safety and general knowledge. These are Swift911 and an All Traffic Solutions Radar Sign we purchased.
We elected to contract with Swift911 because we want all of our residents and people who do business within Brentwood Borough
to be informed as to the various happenings in town. For example, if your street is scheduled to be resurfaced this summer you may
receive a call from Brentwood Borough advising you not to park during certain times or if there is an emergency we can alert you
as well. Swift911 also has the ability to notify you via text and email. Swift911 will call all the published land lines within Brentwood
Borough however with more and more personal cell phone usage we encourage you to “opt in” to Swift911. You can do this by going
to brentwoodboro.com and accessing the portal. Once you opt in you will receive voice, email, and/or text alerts. Note there is also a
Swift911 mobile app that is free for you device as well.
Secondly this year we purchased an All Traffic Solutions Speed Shield 12 sign. This sign will help deter speeding vehicles within the
Borough by displaying the speeds of passing vehicles as well as collecting valuable data so we can better assist you in keeping your
streets safe.

This is the entries scope of work. However, some of the improvements (water slide, seating deck, and
bathhouse renovations) have been deferred to Phase II because of the grant award limitations.
