Why this project?
Our Approach
Some actions by the HKSAR government have started, but we observed challenges still persist
around government policy, bin design, bin placement strategy, landfills and general public
awareness around this topic

tons of municipal waste produced in Hong
Kong in 2015, higher vs other established
cities in the APAC region, and this is
growing.

plastic bottles are thrown away into our
landfills each day, and not recycled.

at the current rate, all of our landfills will
be used up by 2020.
