Our theme for the Image of nursing Committee...“ Nursing in Focus” amplifies the clarity, impact, and visibility of the nursing profession. Established in 1993, the Image of Nursing program has worked to transform the way nurses and nursing students are perceived, challenging stereotypes and educating the public, and our peers. Our core mission is to empower nursing students to embody and project professionalism, as the image we present directly influences the respect and value placed on our profession.
This past year with NSNA has given me so many lasting memories and personal growth opportunities. NSNA is a remarkable organization that offers students invaluable experiences for both professional development and personal enrichment. My goal this year is to strengthen communication with state presidents and amplify the
incredible resources offered through Imprint magazine. Imprint is a powerful platform to highlight the voices and accomplishments of student nurses, and I encourage everyone to consider submitting an article. I also plan to continue growing our social media presence to connect with students in fun and educational ways.
Outside of school and clinicals, I enjoy sharing content on my nursing-themed social media account. I’ m passionate about health and wellness, and I love cooking, attending yoga classes, and traveling. You’ ll often find me at the beach or spending time with friends, family, and my dog. I look forward to connecting with you all and hope Imprint helps bring us closer together. Please don’ t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or want to be featured! My journey began in the skies as a flight attendant, where I mastered the art of communication and learned to navigate high-pressure situations with grace and compassion. Those experiences have seamlessly transitioned into my nursing path, where empathy and effective leadership are essential.
With an unwavering commitment to my community and a vibrant spirit, I am poised to leave a lasting impact in the nursing field, driven by my dedication to compassion, ethical leadership, and excellence.
