Synopsis: Set to the backdrop of‘ Awesome Mixtape # 2,’ Marvel’ s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’ s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’ s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
Marketing / Promotion: Partner with radio stations and music stores to promote the accompanying soundtrack with the film. The soundtrack from the first movie featured classic pop and rock tunes and became a hit in addition to the movie. Partner with franchises and businesses that sell merchandise tied to the film( action figures, toys, collectibles, etc.). Engage followers on social media to answer trivia questions about the first movie, in addition to the comic books. Partner with comic book stores for bounce backs and promotional events.
