10月4日、セカンドハーベストジャパンさんで、炊き出しのお手伝いをさせていただきました。参加者した
学生たちは、準備、配膳、後片付けの3シフトに分かれそれぞれの活動を手伝ってきました。
The students were divided into 3 groups and helped the soup kitchen activity at the Second Havest Japan. The
organization serves food to homeless people in Ueno park every Saturday. It was a great opportunity to learn
about food security in Japan and meet other volunteers who are students in universities, employees in companies and exchanged thoughts and
opinions. Samy Tan, University of California Irvine, goes back there every Saturday since that day to help the organization.

10月19日、幕張ベイタウンで行われた
ハロウィンイベントに、ボランティアと
して7人の学生が参加させていただきま
した！子供たちと一緒に商店街でトリッ
クオアトリートに参加した学生たちは、
日本の子供たちの可愛さに胸キュン！
7 students helped Makuhari Baytown Halloween on October 19th. We did the “trick
or treat” at the shopping street with the
kids. Everyone was so adorable with their
costumes! The event was full of people, we
had a great Sunday with the townees!
