Field Trip:
-relaxing time in Nikko!
10月末、大学の学園祭準備期間を利用して、日光に1泊2日の修学旅行に行ってきました。1日目は世界遺産
「日光の社寺」である、日光東照宮、二荒山神社、輪王寺を見学し、2日目は龍王峡散策の後に日光彫の体験

をして帰ってきました。ホテルでは美味しい日本食を食べ、露天風呂も体験しました！1泊2日はあっという

間でしたが、毎日満員電車での通学や授業で忙しくしている学生にとって、リラックスできた貴重な2日間に

なったようです。
The class of Fall2014 took the first over night trip to Nikko in the end of October. We visited the Shrines and Temples of Nikko, the UNESCO World Heritage for the first day. The shrines and the temple are closely associated with
the history of the Tokugawa Shoguns, some students enjoy learning the history while others enjoy the relaxing atmosphere by escaping from the metropolitan area they lived in Chiba and surrounded by the nature. We could observe an great example of a traditional Japanese religious center associated with the Shinto perception of the relationship of man with nature. We visited the Ryuokyo Ravine for the 2nd day for a morning walk and experienced the
Nikkobori wood curving! Everyone did such a great job curving and made a wonderful mirror as a souvenir.
