来日後、日本語学習の為、大学で行
われているチューター制度に参加す
る学生は毎学期たくさんいます。週
に一度一緒に勉強をするチューター
ですが、チューターを通して勉強は
もちろん、様々な形で日本文化に触
れる機会もあります。参加した学生
にはとてもいい経験になるようで
す。今学期もチューター制度に参加
している学生トリちゃんはチュー
ターのおかげでこんな体験が出来た
そうです。
Many students participate the Tutor
program on campus. They study the
languages together but also experience Japanese culture in many ways!
Hello! I went to model furisode at a nursing home in Chiba last Sunday. This is me and my tutor
Suzuki Shiori. The name of the school is “ハクビと京部きもの学院千葉校” We modeled the
furisode with some other girls for the residents, and also got to see these Heian period costumes!

前回、今学期のE-palの宮本奈那さんにプログラム参加
の感想を聞きましたが、今回は初めて参加の角野公哉君
から、学生と学生のホストファミリーと旅行に行ったと
きの様子が届きました。1泊2日の山梨への旅、富士周
辺の観光や、ホストファミリーの子供たち、そして学生
と一緒に過ごした時間はどうだったのでしょうか？！
Masaya, one of our E-pals for t his semester, traveled to
Yamanashi with his E-pal Ben and his host family. Since he
is the first time to attend the E-pal program it must be really
interesting experience to travel not only with a student but
also with his host family! IES is very grateful to have those E
-pals who always are open-minded and try many things with
our students. He shared the stories from the weekend with
Ben and the Suzuki family in Yamanashi.
10月の週末、ベンとベンのホストファミ
リーとそのお友達と旅行に行ってきまし
た！
最初は京都の予定でしたが、温泉を楽し
もうと熱海になり、結局ベンのタトゥー
のせいで温泉に入れないんじゃないかと
いうことで山梨に行先が決まりました。
富士山の麓の河口湖に行ったんですよ！
当日は河口湖でスワンボートに乗った
り、河口湖周辺をドライブしたり子供た
ちの面倒を見たりでベンも俺も一日遊ん
でくたくたでした。夜はベンのタトゥー
も問題なく、結局温泉に入れました。温泉に入った後も子供たち
と遊んだので、また汗だくになってしまいました！笑
次の日は氷穴、風穴、富士山の五合目を観光しました。帰りの車
は渋滞がひどく8時間位？千葉まで時間がかかりましたがそのおか
げでベンとたくさん会話ができました。もしかしたらこんなに
ぶっ続けで英語話したことないんじゃないかぐらい！なによりも
ベンと絆が深まったよい機会でした！
