illness was not an easy road. Her life at
ICA became a steadying anchor that
nur tured and strengthened her for the
challenges she has faced. She is proud
to be par t of the 2014 class of ICA
and to graduate not only having
completed four years of college
preparatory high school, but also
grateful for four years of corporate
work experience. Claudia thanked
one of her corporate mentors Helena
Huer ta of Union Bank for encouraging
her to take chances and “be her own
kind of strong.” Claudia spoke of
helping Union Bank “go green” with an
idea of sending out statements through
email. She is proud of her work with
the HIV/AIDS community where ͡
