Education That Works
On November 7, 2013, under the
leadership of Kathy (Rende '66)
Mallegni, ICA held its 6th Annual
Gala, “Education That Works.” The
event was hosted at the Grand Hyatt
Union Square in San Francisco. 450
guests enjoyed a wonderful evening
that began with the Louise M. Davies
cocktail reception followed by a grand
entrance led by the ICA Color Guard
team. The evening consisted of a
delicious dinner along with a raffle, live
auction and an inspirational speech
from ICA Senior Claudia Aguilar.

ICA students welcomed and thanked
everyone at every table before
leaving for home. Everyone enjoyed
the girls’ enthusiasm and energy.
Kate Kelly, our gracious emcee for the
evening, welcomed the ICA Block and
Color Guard to the stage. The girls
sang and prayed a blessing over all
the attendees.

own kind of strong.” Dealing with an
