Türkiye networking event
The Almond Board of Australia hosted an industry networking event in Türkiye late last month, bringing together Australian almond exporters and key importers and traders in Istanbul. Türkiye is an increasingly important market for Australian almonds and is our fourth largest single country export destination. The event brought together representatives from across the Australian almond industry, including Select Harvests, Nut Producers Australia and OFI, alongside Turkish importers and traders. We were also pleased to welcome Australian Consul-General in Istanbul, Tony Huber, who joined us for the evening and shared his support for strengthening trade and commercial connections between Australia and Türkiye. It was a great opportunity to strengthen relationships, share an update on the Australian almond industry and discuss the opportunities ahead in this important market.
