You will need:
¾ cup coconut oil (melted)
¾ cup brown sugar (or palm sugar)
2 cups desiccated coconut
2 cups all purpose flour
4 tsp baking POWDER
3 T Cocoa powder
2 cups icing sugar
2 T Cocoa powder
4 T coconut milk
Extra desiccated coconut for
sprinkling
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180 Celsius.
2. Stir or mix in food processor
the coconut oil, sugar,
desiccated coconut, flour,
baking powder and cocoa
powder till fully combined.
3. Spread into a 30x20cm tin.
4. Bake for 20 mins or till just
firm to the touch.
5. Spread immediately with
icing.
6. Stand 10 mins then cut into
Bars – allow to cool in tin.
7. Icing: Mix together icing
sugar, cocoa powder and
coconut milk.
