You will need:
1 T of coconut oil
1 Onion sliced
1 x small package of mushrooms
(150-200grams)
½ cup cabbage sliced
1 small carrot grated
1 x 425g can of baked beans
1 T of Tomato chutney
2 T of plain flour (or thickening
agent of your choice)
1 tsp of oregano
1 x quantity of Pastie dough
Method:
1. Fry onion in oil till soft.
2. Add mushrooms and cook till
soft.
3. Add remaining ingredients
and simmer till sauce
thickens.
4. Allow mixture to cool.
5. Cut dough into portions, roll
out and fill with vegetable
mixture.
6. Shape into pasties.
7. Cook in 200 Celsius oven for
20 minutes, then reduce heat
to 180 and bake further 15
minutes.
