FAIRMONT PREPARATORY ACADEMY, ANAHEIM, CA
NOVEMBER 2013
Sophomore Spirit Day: by Dante

Senior Spirit Day: by Lydia Chen
On Tuesday, the eighth of October, Fairmont
Preparatory Academy’s very own students
came back to school to enjoy the second day
of their annual Sprit Week, precluding the
Homecoming game and dance. Dressed up as
superheroes and famous movie characters, the
students hustled from class to class, reveling in
the transformation of the hallways into a hall of
movies, of sorts. The food was fit for real
superheroes, and everyone had an all around
great day pretending to be superheroes.
The Prep students celebrated Throwback
Thursday in their p.j.s and costumes of their
favorite cartoon characters. Activities during
lunch were fantastic. Students got their
caricatures from an invited artist, or their faces
painted with the patterns they liked. On the
lawn, the inflatables were welcomed, as usual.
Hannah Lu, a sophomore, said: “The activities
are so fun, I liked my caricature, and the food
as swell! This is the best spirit week I’ve
experienced at Fairmont.”

The Junior Class of 2015 went all out on the
third spirit day. Coherent with the "Mafia"
theme of the day, students came dressed in
dashing suits, charming dresses, and exquisite
hats along with various accessories. The
hallways transformed completely as ASB
decked them with long black and white papers
to fully create the "Mafia" atmosphere. "The
Junior class spirit day was awesome and I
thought that the activities our class came up
with were very creative and involving," Meera
Mistry commented, "the awesome food gave it
a nice finish"! At lunch time, all students tested
their skills in the inflatables and went all out
with their friends
