Offical Weight Classes
Fighters can only compete against opponents of their weight class, unless previously agreed upon. Failure to cut weight before the weigh in will result in a fine and the opponent may decline to compete.

1. Striking- combines boxing, muay thai, kickboxing, karate, taekwondo, and sanshow.
2. Clinching-def. stand up grappling, used to eliminate the oppnent's ability to strike. Includes disciplins like freestyle/greco-roman wrestling, judo, and jiujitsu.
3.Ground-def. grappling and striking on the floor. Ex: Brazilian Jiujitsu, judo, and submission wrestling.
A well rounded mixed martial artists should be competent in all three disciplines.
