Basic Rules
Fighters are categorised into (9) weight classes (usually). They are required to wear open finger gloves that guard their knucles. Males are required to be barechested, and both sexes are required to wear a mouth guard. Fighters fight in a cage or a fenced in structure that can be circular or have more than six sides. A match or bout consists of 3 or 5 five minute rounds with a one break in between every round .
Methods to WIn
1. Knockout or Technical Knockout
2. Submission (by word or tapping out)
3. Judges decision: 3 judges score both opponents in each round out of ten. Points are based on effective striking, grappling, defense, and cage control. The winning opponent autopmatically gets ten points while the losing opponent for tht round will recieve 9 points or less. At the end of 3 or 5 rounds, the judges add up points and each determine a winner.
Illegal Maneuvers
Holding on to the fence, holding on the oppent's shorts, headbutting, spitting, biting, hair pulling, eye gouging, fish hooking, groin strikes, knees or feet to head when the oppopnent is down, throat strikes, foul language, stalling, faking injury, etc. Points will be deducted. If the oppnent is injured by the foul, the match ends in a DQ.
