There is no guarantee the agent will be able to produce another buyer at the “ fall through ” contract price , but it ’ s only natural the seller will think to themselves : “ We had this price once … we ’ ll get it again ”.
A sale is not truly finalised or actual until it gets through closing or reaches settlement . ( Buyer gets property and seller gets cash )
Facing the reality of an unsuccessful sale as soon as it happens is important . Expectations have been created and need to be addressed immediately . A good agent will meet with their client and explain what ’ s happening and discuss available options .
