1.9 Mental Imagery: Techniques
Several different types of imagery are used depending on the
application and desired result. Most visualization techniques begin
with relaxation, followed by summoning up a mental image.
If you can imagine it, you can create it in your life. Visualizations
are mental images that can help us to leap over obstacles, shrink our
troubles, manifest our dreams, reduce our stresses, let go of regrets,
and invent new ideas. Visualization is also an excellent decisionmaking tool.
